New Sony XQD G-E memory cards?

Sony-XQD-G-E-memory-cards
B&H has new listing for three Sony XQD G-E memory cards (32GB, 64GB and 128GB) labeled as “new release”. Unless this is a mistake, Sony probably introduced new and updated versions of their XQD G models. No technical specs are available. The read/write speed is labeled as 440 MB/s (read) and 400 MB/s (write). The new XQD G-E are slightly more expensive than the previous M, G and N versions.

It is hard to believe that it’s been a year since Part 1 of this article was published. My traveling schedule is usually back-to-back between destinations during winter and early spring. It wasn’t that long ago that I had completed another month long tour in the tropics, so picking up where I left off made perfect sense.

Before I dive in to the challenges of shooting in the warmer climes, I just wanted to mention that I have been using the 200-500mm f5.6 for nearly 6 months so I will first share what I think about this lens.

Nikon COOLPIX A900 cameraNikon COOLPIX B700 camera
Nikon issued another delay for the Coolpix A900 and B700 cameras as a result of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes: the new release date will be in October. The good news is that the three Nikon DL cameras were not further delayed, which means they should still start shipping in June. Update: Nikon never provided a release date for the DL cameras in their last press release:

“The new release date has yet to be determined and we will announce the information as soon as it is decided.”

Here is the full press release:
