The latest Nikon rebates

The Nikkor lens-only rebates are now gone. The currently available Nikon rebates can be found at Adorama and B&H (the Nikon D500, D750 and D810 now come with a free third party battery grip: Watson EN-EL15).

Nikon should introduce new lens-only rebates at the end of this week. I will post the details once I get them.

For our Canadian readers:

  • Nikon Canada is now offering free battery grips with the purchase of D810 and D750 cameras (D500 is not included)

For our EU readers:

Whens their official 100th anniversary? I think maybe they’ll do a big sale for that?

    • BVS

      July 25th I believe.

      • yes, probably the announcement date for the D820

        • maxx

          -20

  • Ryan Gallant

FYI – the bodies don’t come with a “free third party battery grip” – it’s just a regular battery.

  • Aldo

Everyone waiting on the 100mp d820 (comes with free tripod) 😛

    • nwcs

With special intro price of $820…

      • doge

lol. They should do a sale where everything is priced like it was a hundred years ago.

        • scott800

no way, do you know how much a digital camera would have cost 100years ago?!

        • Hans98Ko

Or Nikon can offer everything including the D5 or the 800mm lens with the 1.25x TC for $100 on the 100th anniversary sales. Even better yet, the more you order the more you save, like ordering a D5, a D810, a D500 , a 14-24mm f/2.8G, a 24-70mm f/2.8E, a 70-200mm f/2.8G all for just $100.
This will definitely bring in the largest record breaking sales figure for Nikon for their 100th anniversary and over take Canon for just a day, or a month, or a year, or forever because they will not be in business in the next 100 years.

        • nwcs

          That would be sweet!

        • Andrew

They are indeed priced like a hundred years ago. But… with a slight adjustment for inflation 😉

    • TwoStrayCats

And some sand bags to weight it down.

  • Fiatlux

Note that the “I am Celebrating 100 years” cash back is available in more EU countries than Germany. For instance in Belgium: http://www.nikonpromo.be/fr/pro/

  • mikerofoto

waiting for the D820 😉 the other sales can wait a bit

    • James Michael

I am not going to rush out and get it. When I bought my D810, I waited for the price to fall to a more reasonable level. If I do get one, it will be in 2018.

  • Senor Magnifico

Hope this is not a stock clearance before Nikon’s business shut down.

The problem with competing with smartphones is that you’d have to convince users to carry another device. No one’s gonna leave their phone at home for a camera. So what’s Nikon banking on for getting any takers?
