I continue to receive tips that Nikon will announce at least two new Nikon Z mirrorless cameras in 2020. Here are some of the options (an update to the expected mirrorless cameras mentioned in my previous post from January):
The Nikon D850 replacement will have similar features and specifications as the upcoming Z8 (the D850 replacement vs. the Z8 will be like the D780 was relative to the Z6). The camera models mentioned in this post are not final and can change. Obviously, announcements could be also delayed further because of COVID-19.
I received a tip that a new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f/2E FL ED VR lens was already tested last year. I don’t know if Nikon is still planning to release a new version of the lens since the current model is already discontinued.
