After Hugyfot and Nauticam, Ikelite also announced their underwater housing for Nikon D800/D800E DSLR cameras. The MSRP is $1600 which makes it the cheapest solution compared to other manufacturers. The depth rating is 200ft (60m).

Nauticam releases NA-D800 underwater housing for Nikon D800

Nauticam officially announced the NA-D800 underwater housing for Nikon D800. With a depth rating of 100m and retail price of $3600, the NA-D800 will start shipping on May 11, 2012.

Underwater housings for Nikon D800 and D4 cameras in the making

The first underwater housing prototypes for Nikon D800 and D4 cameras are already out and they look slick. I was told that the Hugyfot housing for D800 will cost “only” €2,850 including VAT (around $3,700). Hugyfot showed also those 3D rendering for the D4 housing at the London Dive Show:

The new version (model Number: 17206) features enhanced control access and HDMI connection compatibility. The first underwater housing for Nikon Coolpix P7100 (Fantasea FP7100)

Fantasea announced the FP7100 underwater housing for Nikon Coolpix P7100 camera with a depth rating of 60m/200 feet. The estimated release date is the beginning of 2012. The new housing will be compatible with the accessories from the previous FP7000 model.
