Nauticam officially announced the NA-D800 underwater housing for Nikon D800. With a depth rating of 100m and retail price of $3600, the NA-D800 will start shipping on May 11, 2012.

Underwater housings for Nikon D800 and D4 cameras in the making

The first underwater housing prototypes for Nikon D800 and D4 cameras are already out and they look slick. I was told that the Hugyfot housing for D800 will cost “only” €2,850 including VAT (around $3,700). Hugyfot showed also those 3D rendering for the D4 housing at the London Dive Show:

Nauticam announces NA-V1 underwater housing for Nikon V1 camera

Nauticam released an updated version NA-D7000V of their NA-D7000 underwater housing for Nikon D7000. The new version (model Number: 17206) features enhanced control access and HDMI connection compatibility. The depth rating is 100m, the retail price will be $3300, shipping will start on January 1, 2012.

The first underwater housing for Nikon Coolpix P7100 (Fantasea FP7100)

Fantasea announced the FP7100 underwater housing for Nikon Coolpix P7100 camera with a depth rating of 60m/200 feet. The estimated release date is the beginning of 2012. The new housing will be compatible with the accessories from the previous FP7000 model.

Nikon’s solution to prevent condensation in underwater camera housings

Aquatica to release AD7000 underwater housing for Nikon D7000 in early 2011

After Nauticam and Ikelite, Aquatica will also release their AD7000 underwater housing for the Nikon D7000 DSLR camera. The retail price of 2,499.00 USD will place the Aquatica housing between the Nauticam and the Ikelite versions (in terms of price). Expected delivery is slated for early 2011.
