Nikon officially announced the development of firmware version 2.00 for the Nikon ZR (Open Gate coming in 2027)

A few hours after my report, Nikon officially announced the development of a new firmware version 2.00 for the Nikon ZR camera. The release will come later in 2026, and the Open Gate feature will come in 2027. Here are the official details:
