Yes, the new Nikon NX-D software is made by Silkypix

A quick update on my last NX-D post: yes, the Nikon NX-D software is indeed made by Silkypix. Using a hex editor, a reader found “Ichikawa Soft Laboratory SILKYPIX” in one of the Capture NX-D files named CNXD.dll.

Nikon Capture NX-D additional coverage

Is the Capture NX-D software based on the Silkypix software or at least made by the same company (Ichikawa Soft Laboratory)? The above screenshot shows that the interface is very similar.

Surprise: new Nikon Capture NX-D RAW processing software announced

With the D4s and the two Quick Draw straps, Nikon also announced a new RAW image processing and adjustment software called Capture NX-D. You can download a beta version on this website.
