The Nikon 1 AW1 is finally in stock at B&H (the camera has not been in stock for months). Update: B&H is now sold out. Adorama and Amazon still have some in stock.
A reader received an email from DigitalRev indicating that his Nikon 1 AW 1 order was canceled because the camera has been discontinued by the manufacturer:

The Nikon 1 AW underwater mirrorless camera was announced on September 19th, started shipping on October 14th and was in stock on October 28th. Today the AW1 is still hard to find and is currently out of stock at Amazon and Adorama while B&H has very limited availability of only few configurations.
Nikon introduced the AW1 camera with only two underwater lenses: 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 and 10mm f/2.8. The next lens in the AW1 lineup will most likely be the Nikkor 1 10-100mm f/4-5.6 pictured above. The announcement date is still unknown.
