The focusing ring of Z 35mm 1.8S is all metal and provides great handling. Furthermore, it enables users to have their own setting, such as changing the aperture or exposure compensation.

Kamlan plans to launch their first full-frame mirrorless lenses for Z-mount next year

The Taiwanese company Sainsonic plans to launch their first Kamlan branded full-frame mirrorless lenses for Z-mount next year – they already have the Kamlan 55mm f/1.2 full frame mirrorless lens for Sony E-mount (pictured above – more info on that lens is available here):

Just announced: J.B. wood grip-base for Nikon Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras

J.B. Camera Designs released their wood grip-base for Nikon Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras:

“Nikon has finally released a proper pro level mirrorless camera and we feel it still needs a place for that pinky finger! Add protection, ergonomics and a unique look to your Nikon Z6 & Z7 with our new Wood Grip-Base options. We have grips for the Z6 & Z7 in our current 4 wood options: Walnut (dark brown), Padauk (red), White Oak (distressed black painted), and Bamboo (bright yellow).”

Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens US price: $1,399, pre-orders now open

Today Sigma announced the price of the new Sigma 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art full frame DSLR lens: $1,399. Pre-orders are now open at Adorama and B&H Photo.

In addition to the 40mm f/1.4 lens, Sigma also announced three other new DSLR lenses at the 2018 Photokina show:
