Available third party software solutions based on Nikon’s SDK

Here are some of the third party Nikon software solutions I have covered over the years. I believe most (if not all) of them are based on Nikon’s SDK. Almost all of them are free: Nikon Camera Control software (tethering, remote camera control and more) DigiCamControl (open source tethering software) Nikontrol 3K (remote control for PC)

You can now edit Nikon D750 NEF/RAW files in Capture NX2 with the free RAW2NEF software

As you probably already know Capture NX2 is no longer supported by Nikon and it is replaced by the less capable Capture NX-D version. Nikon Control Beta 1

Please note that this post is not about Nikon’s Camera Control Pro software, but rather for an app developed by a reader (to prevent confussions the name of the app will be changed soon). First was the D700 video capture software, which revealed the existence of the Nikon SDK package, then was my “quest” for […]

Nikon SDK

This is just a follow up on the previous post: the Nikon Software Development Kit (SDK) that was used for the D700 video capture can be downloaded @ https://sdk.nikonimaging.com/apply/ If you are a software developer, you can probably create some cool stuff with it – drop me a line if you do.
