Nikon AF-S Fisheye NIKKOR 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED lens now shipping

The just announced Nikon AF-S Fisheye NIKKOR 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED lens is already shipping to authorized dealers in the US and should be in stock early next week (on Monday or Tuesday). When Nikon announced the lens, they did indicate in the press release that it will be available immediately. The D7500 camera also started shipping 8 days ahead of the official release date. This is a good PR move by Nikon after a series of negative news in the past few months.

Nikon D7500 additional coverage

Imaging Resource published the first test shots of the Nikon D7500 DSLR camera and a quick comparison with the D500:

Surprise: Nikon D7500 camera now shipping in the US (earlier than expected)

The Nikon D7500 DSLR camera is already shipping to dealers in the US – this is 8 days before the official launch date. Ace Photo for example currently has the D7500 in stock in one of their locations.

B&H and Adorama are also expecting the cameras to be in stock tomorrow, June 2nd (D7500 pre-order links available here).
