This is a recap on the upcoming Nikon mirrorless cameras. The previous post got a lot of comments and it is hard to navigate, so this will be another place to discuss the upcoming announcement.
Keep in mind that the leaked specifications could be slightly different for the two different models. The translation could also be off since the original set of specifications came from Asia (pictured above is a Nikon mirrorless camera concept created by a reader).

Note that I said “cameras” in the title – yes, Nikon is coming up with two mirrorless cameras. Here are the specs that I believe are correct (some numbers could be slightly off or rounded):

Nikon has new rebates: you can see the details at B&H, Adorama and BuyDig (same offers should be available also on Amazon).

Some updates on the registered but not yet announced Nikon cameras: two of the upcoming models (N1710 and N1711) will use the Nikon EN-EL15a battery (or equivalent).
A reminder that the EN-EL15a battery is currently used in the Nikon D7500, D7200, D7100, D7000, D850, D810A, D810, D800E, D800, D750, D610, and D500 DSLR cameras.
The assumption here is that the N1710 and N1711 models will be mid to high-end DSLR cameras (D760 and D650?), but it is also possible that Nikon may use the EN-EL15a battery in their new mirrorless camera.
My personal guess is that Nikon will use a new battery specially designed for their mirrorless camera and the N1710 and N1711 will be DSLR cameras (reminder: DSLRs are not dead).
