The Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S full-frame mirrorless lens is now officially announced. The US price is $2,297, shipping will start in spring 2019.

A quick update: the US price of the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens will be $2,297. Expect the official announcement in a few hours. For comparison, the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens for F-mount is priced at $2,197 (that is $200 off with the current lens rebates).

Adobe Camera Raw 11.2, Lightroom 8.2 released with new “Enhance Details” feature and support for Coolpix A1000 and Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E


Today Adobe released Camera Raw version 11.2 and Lightroom Classic CC 8.2 with a new Enhance Details feature that will give you a higher quality and more accurate rendition of fine color details in your raw images:

Introduced in the February 2019 release of Lightroom Classic (version 8.2) and powered by Adobe Sensei, Enhance Detailsproduces crisp detail, improved color rendering, more accurate renditions of edges, and fewer artifacts. Enhance Details is especially useful for making large prints, where fine details are more visible. This feature applies to raw mosaic files from cameras with Bayer sensors (Canon, Nikon, Sony, and others) and Fujifilm X-Trans sensors.

 
Adobe also added support for the Nikon Coolpix A1000 camera and Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens with different teleconverter combinations (see new cameras and new lens support added):
