Nikon released today a new DVD “A Hands-on Guide to Creative Lighting”:

“Nikon is pleased to announce a new DVD that guides viewers on advanced creative lighting techniques under the masterful instruction of award-winning National Geographic Travelerphotographer Bob Krist and world renowned photojournalist and lighting expert, Joe McNally. Painting with light is the very definition of photography and this DVD demonstrates why the Nikon Creative Lighting System (CLS) continues to define the imaginative possibilities available to photographers.”

The DVD will be available on November 1, 2008 for an estimated selling price of $39.95.

I have been reading all of your feedback on the new site and I have fixed most of the issues. I still have few minor changes pending, so please be patient.

I have many ideas about NR. I may have to shut down or sell LeicaRumors.com in order to concentrate on Nikon. LeicaRumors was more like a hobby.

Email and RSS are working again – they are now located on the top bar.

I am still not sure if I can use the red triangle/swoosh – I could not find any info whether this is Nikon’s trademark or not. I may contact Nikon directly and ask them.
