Nikon announced digiscoping adapter DSA-N1 and DSB-N1 bracket for Nikon 1 mirrorless cameras

Time-lapse video of the Nikon D600 dust accumulation problem

The time-lapse video below shows the dust accumulation problem with a brand new Nikon D600. Note that the lens was never changed during this test – so this is not really dust coming from the outside, but internal particles accumulated around the same upper left portion of the sensor:

Eye-Fi cards now compatible with the Nikon D800 camera

Quick update for all Wi-Fi cards fans: in their latest firmware release v5.0018 Eye-Fi resolved the compatibility issue with Nikon D800/D800E cameras.

FYI: Transcend recently announced their own 16GB and 32GB Wi-Fi enables SD memory cards.

Nikkor 70-200mm f/4 and 18.5mm f/1.8 lenses to start shipping next week
