Alternative IPTC Preset Manager Software (for Nikon D4)

Nikon offers the free IPTC Preset Manager software which requires Microsoft Silverlight. The software lets you enter IPTC presets for cameras (D4) that embed International Press Telecommunications Council information. NikonWeb offers a simple alternative program that can be downloaded for free here (Windows only):

Nikon D700 firmware update v1.03, ViewNX v2.3.2 released

The previously reported firmware update 1.03 for Nikon D700 is now official. The new A1.03, B1.02 version contains only one fix: An issue that, in some very rare cases, caused images to be extremely under-exposed has been resolved. Nikon also released ViewNX 2.3.2 with only one fix:

Hacked: time limit during video recording now removed for the Nikon D3100/D5100/D7000
