Nikon D610 DSLR camera listed as discontinued at the largest camera store in Prague

The Nikon D610 DSLR camera and all available D610 kits are listed as discontinued at the largest camera store in Prague (“jiz neni v prodeji” = discontinued).

In the US the D610 is still available for sale for the ridiculous price of $1,496.95 (you can get the much better D750 for $300 more).

The Nikon D610 was announced in October 2013 and basically did not have any upgraded specifications from the D600 (except a 0.5 fps bump). The D600 was introduced in September 2012 – that makes the Nikon D610 over 5 years old and I am actually surprised it has not already been discontinued.
