The first unconfirmed reports about a Nikon press conference on April 19th, 2012 started to come in. The expected announcement is for the Nikon D3200 and maybe even the already leaked Nikkor AF-S 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED DX VR lens.
Nikon will soon announce the D3200 DSLR camera which will replace the current D3100 ($549). In addition to the D4 and D800, Nikon will announce three more DSLR cameras in 2012. I believe that the new cameras will all be DX models – my vote goes for Nikon D3100, D7000 and D300s replacements. In terms of lenses, I am confident about at least two new DX products:
