Do you remember the leaked pictures of a Nikkor 28-135mm lens I posed online a few months ago?
Nikon just officially announced the development of a new Nikkor Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ (PowerZoom) video zoom lens for the Nikon Z mount:

Nikon registered a new N2326 camera in Asia. This should be a Z series camera. The previously reported N2323 will most likely be a P-model point-and-shoot camera.
I was told that the N2323 is not related to the ME-W1 because the ME-W1 registration information is not recorded as Nxxxx but is directly written as ME-W1 (ME-W1 was a mic announced together with the Nikon D7200).
If the above information is correct, it matches the previous rumors about a Z5o and P1000 camera replacements:

As I reported last week, Nikon started new rebates in the US. For the complete list, check our sponsors:
The Z6 III is now $200 off:
The Nikkor Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens is now $800 off (was $500 off before):
The Nikon Europe rebates can be found here:

→ The new PolarPro LightLeak 28mm f/11 lens for Nikon Z-mount is now available for pre-order.

→ New: Sidekick Pro camera back by Clever Supply on Kickstarter: $82,652 raised by 934 backers with 23 days to go.

→ The new ON1 Photo RAW 2025 is now officially released (save 15%). Additional information is available here.

→ From November 5 to 10, 2024, Nikon will exhibit at the China International Import Expo.

→ Nikon India inaugurates India’s first experience center dedicated to its healthcare range. Nikon has been investing heavily in India for the last few years.
→ Interview with two astronaut photographers currently on the ISS.

Nikon started a new rebate program in Europe where you can get up to €1,000/£900 on selected cameras and lenses (including the Nikon Zf):
In the US, Nikon will start a new rebate program on October 29 (the Z8 should be $500 off again). For details, check Adorama, B&H Photo, Paul’s Photo, and Service Photo.
The previously leaked/rumored Sirui Aurora 85mm f/1.4 full-frame autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount is now officially announced and available for order at Amazon – currently $100 off with a coupon:
A reader sent me this screenshot, reportedly taken from the Nikon Imaging Cloud website, that shows support for the Nikon Zf, Z6III, Z8, and Z9 cameras (click for larger view):

Added Nikon Imaging Cloud support for more camera models has been rumored for months, but maybe it’s all a hoax – see previous posts:
