A quick update to my post from earlier today: Nikon is rumored to announce a new Nikkor 28mm f/1.4 lens.
I do not have an exact date for the announcement yet, but Monday is an official US holiday and Nikon never introduces new products on Fridays – this leaves us with Tuesday or Wednesday night as the potential announcement times.
Nikon already has a Nikkor 28mm f/1.8G lens that is currently priced at 696.95 (pictured above). I expect the new 28mm f/1.4 lens to be over $1,000.
In June, Nikon is also expected to announce the price and availability of the 100 years commemorative products that were introduced in April.
