→ The new Zhongyi Mitakon 20mm f/2.0 4.5X high magnification ratio macro lens is now is now listed at B&H (was also in stock, but it is sold out now).
→ Nikon loaned D3400, D500 and KeyMission 360 cameras in Germany in exchange for online/social media reviews posts, including reviews on Amazon Germany (see all entries here). It seems that a total of 195 people took advantage of this offer – all registered users of the website trnd.com.
→ Nikon announced line-up of masterclasses for aspiring photojournalists in Europe.
Several readers visited the Nikon booth at the 2017 CES in Las Vegas and reported back that there were no DL cameras on display and the official word on availability is “TBD” or “coming soon“:
I’m here at CES and stopped by their booth after reading your call for DL delivery date. Unfortunately I spoke with three separate people and they are all playing stupid or not providing anything. They wouldn’t even offer a guess… sorry I can’t be more helpful but that is their official line.

B&H no longer has the Nikon DL cameras shipping date listed as January 2017 on their product pages – it was changed a few days ago to “coming soon” – reportedly based on direct input from Nikon USA:

The lack or pre-CES rumors was very simple: just as I reported a few weeks ago, Nikon only introduced the D5600 DSLR camera (and two Coolpix models: A300 and W100) to the US market.
