A few hours ago, Nikon announced the development of a new Nikkor Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ video zoom lens. Sony also has a Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS full-frame power zoom lens that is priced at $2,500. The lens was introduced back in 2024:

Nikon registered a new N2326 camera in Asia. This should be a Z series camera. The previously reported N2323 will most likely be a P-model point-and-shoot camera.
I was told that the N2323 is not related to the ME-W1 because the ME-W1 registration information is not recorded as Nxxxx but is directly written as ME-W1 (ME-W1 was a mic announced together with the Nikon D7200).
If the above information is correct, it matches the previous rumors about a Z5o and P1000 camera replacements:
