Nikon deals: another $100 price drop on the Nikon 1 V3 mirrorless camera, free Nikon FTZ adapter offer still available

The Nikon 1 V3 mirrorless camera with Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-Zoom lens combo got another $100 price drop since my last post in February and is now selling for $499.95 (that’s $600 off). Note that this is not a refurbished sale, you will get the full Nikon US warranty.

The Nikon 1 V3 is already listed as discontinued at B&H. Refurbished Nikon 1 V3 + 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 kits are selling for $389 at Amazon.

All other Nikon rebates and offers are now gone except for the free Nikon FTZ adapter offer that is still available until April 13th:

Joe McNally switches to Canon

Following the sad news that Sony withdrew from the camera business, Joe McNally officially announced that he is switching to Canon. In an unprecedented video called “Why I left Nikon for Canon” Joe explains his reasons:

“Nikon cameras are just very good and no longer fun. Every picture is just perfect and now anybody can take good photographs. I need something more challenging….”

Nikon rumored to announce a new instant camera

Following Canon’s latest announcement, Nikon is also rumored to announce a new instant camera that will destroy everything available on the market today in terms of image quality. I just received the first leaked picture and here is the promo video:
