The Meike 35mm f/1.4 APS-C manual focus mirrorless lens that was announced last year for Sony E-mount is now also available for Nikon Z-Mount. Since this is an APS-C lens, it will be best suited for the Nikon Z50 camera. Meike already has two other lenses for Z-mount: 50mm f/1.7 and 85mm f/2.8 (Adorama | B&H). Photographing the Milky Way in beautiful and dark Utah, had been on my mind for many years. I had made several trips to Southern Utah in the past to visit Zion National Park and the GSENM – however, I was either visiting during the fall or winter months, when the Milky Way was not visible or during a full moon, when it was washed out by the moonlight. Well, in June of this year, I finally got a chance to go on a road trip across Utah and seized upon the opportunity, to finally photograph the Milky Way.
