Moose Peterson also thinks the Nikon D4s will be announced tonight

Nikon-D4s-leak
Moose Peterson (Nikon ambassador) also thinks the Nikon D4s will be announced tonight because I just saw the above blog entry in my RSS feed. The blog post is now of course removed (http://www.moosepeterson.com/blog/2014/02/24/d4s-annoucnement/) but Google cache will probably have it available online shortly.

Few hours before the official announcement, I will say it again: the Nikon D4s will be 16MP

Nikon-D4S-I-am-coming-soon
For the past two months I have been reporting that the Nikon D4s will be 16MP (see this and this posts) and today I received a dozen of emails from readers asking me the very same question. If you are still believing the 24MP hype, you should seriously reconsider the websites where your are getting your Nikon news and rumors. I have also said that if the D4s is 24MP, I will shut down this website for good. Stay tuned for detailed coverage – everything should start around midnight EST (5am GMT).

Wildlife photography

Great-Gray-Owl-British-Columbia
Alfredo Fernández (Web | Facebook | Flickr) will share some of his wildlife photography tips and photos:

Wildlife photography is one of the most popular fields within photography. I have yet to meet a photographer who does not enjoy driving around National Parks in search of breath-taking landscapes or elusive wildlife. A quick look at any photography forum will show several hundred if not thousand posts regarding nature. Yet, all of these photos mostly look really similar, if not the same. I feel that nature photography has become –to some degree- monotonous. 90% of bird shots are really similar. A nice bird perched on a nice branch with a clean background. Don’t get me wrong, I like this kind of images, and even shoot some myself, but I feel these images have no history behind, they get uninteresting and boring after a while.

So, today I want to share some tips to improve your nature photographer and create different images.
