Phottix now has their new BG-D800 battery grip for Nikon D800/D800E DSLR cameras available for sale ($145): “Phottix Premium Series BG-D800 Battery Grip for Nikon D800 DSLR features AF/On button, command dials, vertical shutter button and multifunction controller. The BG-D800 holds 8 AA batteries or 1 EL-EL15 battery in the included trays.
Embedded is a video review on the fake battery grips for the Nikon D800 DSLR that can be purchased from Amazon – the Pixel version is $100 and the Meike copy costs around $70. For comparison, the original Nikon MB-D12 is priced at $400.
