The new Sigma 500mm f/5.6 DG DN OS Sports lens tested on the Nikon Z9 camera



Last month Sigma announced a new 500mm f/5.6 DG DN OS Sports lens for Sony E and Leica L mount priced at $3,000/€3,200 (Adorama | B&H | Erhardt | Calumet | WEX) – hopefully, the lens will also be available for Nikon Z-mount in the future:

  • Lightning-fast autofocus
  • Fantastic stabilization
  • Aperture value ring (+ possibility of setting it, click, lock)
  • Sealed housing
  • Hydro and oleophobic coatings
  • Size and weight
  • Control on the lens (buttons, switches, panel)
  • Arca Swiss foot and 90-degree click
  • Construction, precision, made in Japan
  • 3-year distributor’s warranty with the possibility of extension to 5 years

Cons:

  • Available only for Sony E and Leica L mount
