Several readers in the US just received their Nikon Z9 cameras from Adorama. The currently shipped orders were placed on the day of the announcement (October 28). Almost 5 months since the Z9 is available to purchase, Nikon is still fulfilling orders placed on the first day:
“Hi, just wanted to let you know I ordered my z9 on 10/28/21 at around 6pm and received it yesterday 3/17/22 from Adorama.”
“I just received my Z9 on 3/17/22 ordered Oct 28th at 5PM. Thought you may want to let others know mine came from Adorama.”
Adorama and B&H are still shipping Nikon Z9 cameras ordered on the day of the announcement
