Nikon D6 to be announced on September 4th

Nokishita now reports that Nikon will announce the D6 on September 4th (I was expecting it in October). I am pretty sure this will be a development announcement. Another one bites the dust: all Nikon KeyMission cameras now officially discontinued

All three Nikon KeyMission cameras are now officially discontinued at the Nikon Japan website: Nikon KeyMission cameras are also no longer listed at many Nikon website (screenshot from Nikon Germany): Some KeyMission models are now on closeout at Adorama (in stock also at B&H).
