Nikkei: both Nikon and Canon to announce new full-frame mirrorless cameras in the second half of 2018


According to a recent Nikkei article, both Nikon and Canon are going to release their full-frame mirrorless cameras in the second half of 2018. The initial plan was to release their new mirrorless solutions in 2019, but both companies have accelerated their plans based on the latest market trends, demand and advance in technology.

Sony and Tamron recently made similar statements about the Nikon full-frame mirrorless camera.

The reports about the new Canon full frame mirrorless camera have also picked up in the last few weeks.
