Canon G1x vs. Nikon V1 vs. Nikon P7100 DxOMark comparison

DxOMark just published their test results of the Canon PowerShot G1x compact camera. Here is a quick DxOMark style comparison with the Nikon V1 and the Coolpix P7100. The D1x has almost two times better low light ISO performance than the V1, dynamic range and color depth are almost identical.

I cannot get enough of those crazy Nikon 1 lens combinations. This setup was sent by Peter Korp and includes Nikon V1 + FT-1 adapter + Nikon T adapter + Celestron reflex 2000mm f/10 which makes this a 5400mm weapon (FX equivalent). Nikon V1 is now available in white

Today Nikon USA released a white color version of the Nikon 1 V1 mirrorless camera. Until now, only the black V1 was available in the US. Expect the camera to be on sale in stores in the next few days.
