Nikkor 17-35mm officially discontinued

AF-S Zoom-NIKKOR 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED is now officially discontinued according to a Nikon support email: “Lens Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D ED-IF AF-S is discontinued and we don’t have any information about upcoming replacement.” The lens is already removed from the official price list of Nikon UK.
