Nikon D60 next to be discontinued?

Nikon D40 is already discontinued. I also got multiple reports that the Nikon D60 is low in stock, not available or discontinued in some online retailers (the reports were mainly from Europe). Quick check in the US:  B&H is out of stock: Adorama is out of stock: Amazon still has it in stock. Nikon D40, D300 microsites are gone

Nikon Europe web sites were down again (yesterday and today). The Nikon D40 and Nikon D300 microsites are gone – the screenshot was taken from the main nikon.de page. The last time Nikon removed the D80 microsite, the D90 was announced few days later (of course “past performance is not guarantee to future returns”).

According to this post at photo.net Nikon have stopped producing their legendary Nikon F6 film SLR. Few months ago Michio Kariya (Nikon Corp. Nikkor 17-35mm officially discontinued
