Nikon D600 marked as discontinued

The Nikon D600 body is currently marked as discontinued at B&H. There will not be much inventory left for the prices to go even further down. For the next 30 minutes Amazon has a lightning deal where you can get a new D600 with a 24-85mm lens for $1,699.99.

Nikon USA removed D600 and D5100 from their MAP list

As of September 14th Nikon USA removed the D600 and D5100 cameras from their MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) list. Nikon TC-14E II teleconverter listed as discontinued again

After Nikon Sweden listed the TC-14E II teleconverter as discontinued few weeks ago, we now have a major retailer (DigitalRev) who also marked the 14E II teleconverter as discontinued. With the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi (February 2014), I will not be surprised if this TC and the Nikkor 300mm f/4 lens get updated.

Nikon AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D lens listed as “end of life”

Two Romanian stores (fotohobbyshop and f64) have listed the AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D lens as “end of life“. The lens is still listed as current on Nikon USA website. Romanian stores have been accurately publishing information on soon-to-be-discontinued products in the past (Nikon D3x and D3s).
