
Nikon reports that it reached a settlement for the patent infringement lawsuit against Sigma filed in Japan in 2011. The amount of the settlement Nikon received from Sigma was not disclosed:

The US law firm Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein is currently collecting Nikon D600 dust complaints for a potential class action lawsuit – I personally don’t think this will happen since Nikon has been responsive to customer’s complains and has either fixed the issue (replaced the shutter) or in some cases replaced the camera.
Nikon published an update on the lawsuit against Sakar over the Polaroid iM1836 digital mirrorless camera – the court issued consent injunction and both parties agreed that “Sakar will no longer manufacture, import, advertise, promote, offer for sale, sell, or ship the Polaroid iM1836 digital camera in its present configuration“:
