Nikon released new firmware updates for the D3100, D3200, D5100, D5200 and P7700 cameras. The only fix included in the update is the accurate detection of the remaining battery charge for the rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL14a. The battery performance/life is also maximized so that more images can be captured on one charge. Firmware download links:
Nikon released firmware update 1.1 for the Nikon Coolpix P7100 compact camera. This comes as a surprise to me, since the P7100 has been discontinued (and replaced by the P7700) for a while and Nikon is not big on releasing firmware updates for older products. Here is the list of modifications:
Nikon released Distortion Control Data version 1.009 L firmware update for D4, D90, D600, D800, D800E, D3100, D3200, D5000, D5100, D5200, D7000 and D7100 DSLR cameras. The L firmware update provides corrections for lens barrel and pincushion distortions.
