First Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E lens shipped in Asia

A mobile01 forum member already received the new Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E lens. The thread contains also several sample images. The technical specifications of the lens can be found here. According to B&H and Amazon, shipping in the US should start on September 17th.

Arctic Svalbard, seen through the lens of my Nikon

I recently saw my childhood dream come true when I undertook a two week boat expedition through the Svalbard Islands.

The Svalbard Islands are located in the Arctic Ocean, approximately half way between Norway and the North Pole. It’s an untouched wilderness featuring snow-capped peaks, glaciers, icebergs and wildlife.
