All three Nikon KeyMission cameras are now officially discontinued at the Nikon Japan website:


Nikon KeyMission cameras are also no longer listed at many Nikon website (screenshot from Nikon Germany):


Some KeyMission models are now on closeout at Adorama (in stock also at B&H).

Dpreview’s Chris Nichols: “Nikon is dropping 5 lines of DSLRs”


Chris Nichols from Dpreview TV said in a recent video that “Nikon is dropping five lines of SLRs” (6:44 mark):

Two months ago I reported that three lines of Nikon DSLRs will not be replaced. Maybe Chirs is referring to that rumor or maybe he has some additional information from some internal Nikon presentations. It is possible that Nikon added two more DSLR lines to the list I reported two months ago. I think it is safe to assume that only high-end DSLRs will survive in the future.

The upcoming Nikon N1912 camera will use a new EN-EL25 battery and a new MH-32 charger


Nikon recently registered a new N1912 camera with the Taiwan NCC agency. Nokishita now reports that the N1912 model will use a new Nikon EN-EL25 battery (7.6V, 1120mAh) that was recently registered in Russia and a new Nikon MH-32 charger. The wireless components in the N1912 camera will be the same as in the Z6 and Z7:
