Nikkei 2018 interchangeable lens camera market share
Nikkei published their 2018 interchangeable lens camera market share report:
All other companies combined have less than a 13% market share (the top 3 camera manufacturers gained 6.2% in 2018 to a total of 87.3%). While Canon and Sony gained market share (3.9% and 2.9%), Nikon lost 0.6%.
The compact (fixed lens) digital camera market share is similar:
Tamron will soon announce a new 17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di OSD lens for Nikon F-mount (Model A037)
Tamron already has a 15-30mm f/2.8 lens for Nikon F-mount.
