The just-announced Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 lens is not a replacement for the long-awaited Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S-line lens from the latest roadmap, as initially reported. The Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S-line lens is still rumored to be announced in the future (no specific date or timeframe for now).
Nikon will also soon announce a new Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.4 lens (not S-line) to complement the new Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 – I already reported that on multiple occasions:
As previously reported, Nikon officially announced the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 lens for Z-mount.
