Nikon Coolpix P1000 firmware update version 1.4 released


Nikon released firmware update version 1.4 for the Coolpix P1000 camera with a single fix:

  • Fixed an issue that caused pairing between the camera and devices running the SnapBridge app under iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 to fail.

The Nikon P1000 still sells without a discount ($1,000) at Adorama, B&H, and Amazon.

Nikon executive: “for the time being, we will concentrate on mirrorless cameras”
