I already reported that Nikon is expected to release two new cameras in 2026, even though the Z9II could be delayed until 2027. There are new rumors about a third small Nikon full-frame mirrorless camera without a viewfinder, designed for photography, that is expected to be announced in 2026. Here are the details I got so far about this possible third camera:
No EVF
Full-frame camera
Similar to the ZR but designed for photography (not video)
Small, slim body (22-25mm thickness)
Recently, several readers emailed me, saying they use the Nikon ZR for photography and highlighting its advantages in form factor and size.
What do you think about these rumors?
