Nikon Canada sent a notice to retailers that three more Nikkor F-mount lenses are “no longer available to order” (discontinued):
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR
Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED
Nikon AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED

Just released: Capture One 14.4 (with Nikon Z fc support), Nik Collection 4.2, Luminar AI 5, Exposure X7, Lightroom sneak peek

TTartisan will soon announce a new 32mm f/2.8 full-frame autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount



TTartisan will soon announce its first autofocus full-frame lens that will be available also for Nikon Z-mount – the TTartisan AF 32mm f/2.8 Z will be officially released in October or November. All other mounts will follow after (Sony E, Fuji X, Canon M, Canon R).


TTartisan was rumored to announce its first AF lens in 2022. I am surprised they did it earlier given the current global parts shortage. It is also nice to see that the Nikon Z version will be released first.

Nikon D6 firmware update version 1.33 released


Today Nikon released firmware update version 1.33 for the D6 DSLR camera with a single change:

“Fixed an issue that would in very rare instances result in a burst of two photos being taken with a single press of the shutter-release button when Single frame was selected for release mode.”
