Confirmed: Nikon to announce the new Nikkor Z 800mm f/6.3 VR PF S lens on April 6th

Just a quick update to my previous post – I can now confirm that Nikon will announce the new Nikkor Z 800mm f/6.3 VR PF S lens on Wednesday, April 6th at 1 am EDT (5 am GMT). The price is expected to be around $6,000/£6,000. Stay tuned for the full coverage.

Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S mirrorless lens for Z-mount now shipping

The new Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S mirrorless lens for Z-mount is now shipping in the US. I received the first email confirmation from a reader that the lens is actually shipping. Of course, the order was placed on the day of the announcement (January 18). I expect the wait time for the Nikkor Z 400mm lens to be similar to the Z9 (around 1 year) – check pricing and availability at:
