NikonRumors will be migrating to a new server this weekend (starting at 10 pm EST tonight). With the increased traffic and a large number of posts (over 9,000 posts, 33,000 photos, and 800,00 comments), it is time to move to a server with a new generation of processors. We have to also get ready for the upcoming Nikon Z8 spike in traffic.
In theory, the migration should be seamless – we will be using live migration technology that promises no downtime – it will just require a reboot (a downtime of about two to three minutes). Let’s hope that will be all.

I received a tip from a reader that B&H Photo is currently shipping the Nikon Nikkor Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens to regular (non-NPS) pre-orders (the order was placed on April 6th, 7 minutes after the official announcement):

I received similar information for pre-orders in Europe: a non-NPS reader just received his lens in the Netherlands. His order was placed on April 7th.
