Nikon multi-aperture computational camera patent

Nikon has a new patent application filed recently in Japan for a multi-aperture computational camera similar to the Light L16. Nikon’s patent is for a compact camera with four different sensors paired with four different lenses (with different angle of view).

New patent: the Nikon Coolpix P900 camera replacement could have a 100x zoom lens

   Nikon Japan has a new patent for a compact super zoom camera with a 100x optical zoom lens (4.4-440mm f/2.8-8.3 or 24-2400mm equivalent) designed for a 1/2.3″ sensor.
