Nikon server maintenance scheduled for September 15th


Today, Nikon sent emails about a scheduled server maintenance on September 15th. This may reaffirm a potential new product announcement around that date, as previously reported (see this and this post). Here is the full text of the official notice:

Server Maintenance Information

Thank you for your continued patronage of Nikon products and services.
Server maintenance will be conducted for the Nikon ID service as per the schedule below.

15 September 2026, 1:00 – 15 September 2026, 8:00 (Planned) (UTC)

Users will be unable to sign in to the following services with Nikon ID during this period.
– Nikon Imaging Cloud
– NIKON IMAGE SPACE (photo uploads from SnapBridge will not be available)
– NX Studio *
– NX Tether *

* You can continue using NX Studio and NX Tether during maintenance by signing in before the maintenance begins, as these applications maintain your sign-in status for 30 days.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope that you continue to enjoy our products and services in the future.
