Nikkor Z 24-120mm f/4 S instead of Nikkor 24-105mm f/4 S lens?

One of the lenses expected to be announced tomorrow is the Nikkor 24-105mm f/4 S lens. Nokishita now reports that the lens will actually be Nikkor Z 24-120mm f/4 S which is a standard Nikon zoom focal range and already exists for F-mount.

Nikon has already made some small focal length adjustments to lenses on the roadmap (for example the Nikkor Z macro went from 60mm to 50mm). I also remember the first rumors I reported were about a 24-120mm f/4 lens and not about a 24-105 f/4 lens – I had to correct them thinking it was a typo.
