What to expect from Nikon next week?

I still do not have a confirmed list of all new products that will be announced next week (June 2nd ±1 day), but this is what I expect – pretty much what I have been reporting in the past few months:

  • Nikon APS-C mirrorless camera: this could be a retro model or we may even get two different APS-C models, but I think this is unlikely (prepare also for a development announcement since I have not seen any real leaks yet)
  • Nikon Nikkor Z 105mm Micro S lens: long overdue… (low chance for a new Nikkor Z 50mm or 60mm Micro lens – see the latest Nikkor Z roadmap here)
  • Nikkor Z 100-400mm VR S lens: pretty much confirmed (low chance for getting the Nikkor Z 200-600mm lens instead, but still a possibility)
  • One or two new APS-C mirrorless lenses to go together with the rumored Nikon APS-C mirrorless camera
  • Very low chance for any new F-mount products
  • No Nikon dedicated video camera: I have not received a single rumor about Nikon making a dedicated video camera

If you have any additional information on the upcoming Nikon announcement next week, please contact me anonymously here. Thanks!
