Nikon-fluorite-lens
Nikon filed more patents for telephoto lenses with fluorite element – the list of future FL lenses now matches exactly the rumor I reported few months ago with the exception of the 200-400mm f/4 lens.

Here are the upcoming Nikkor FL lenses described in the latest Nikon patent filed recently in Japan:

Nikon 200mm f:2 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 200mm f/2 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 300mm f:2.8 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 300mm f/2.8 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 500mm f:4 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 500mm f/4 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 600mm f:4 FL ED VR lens patent

Nikon 600mm f/4 FL ED VR lens patent (already reported last week)

The Nikon 400mm f/2.8E FL ED VR800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR lenses and TC-14E III teleconverter already have FL elements.
